Puerto Rican Food From The Shores of The Lower East Side

Translating to “how fantastic,” Que Chevere is a fast food concept developed by Mike Petrovitch, an Lower East Side “OG”, as an homage to his Puerto Rican heritage and family. Inspired by Michael’s father-in-law, Manuel Chevere, the restaurant represents his infectious spirit for cooking, and his ability to use food as a vehicle to bring people together.

Que Chevere provides a portion of all proceeds via donations to several charities that support Autism Awareness.

"Que Chevere brings a focused menu of Puerto Rican classics back to the Lower East Side, including Pernil, Chicharron de Pollo, Mofongo..."- The Gothamist

"Puerto Rican food caterer Que Chevere has opened its first-ever brick-and-mortar and is offering build-you-own bowls for when you want to try a bit of everything and can’t make up your mind. Make sure to get the decadent potato salad." - Time Out NY
